What is Firefox Do Not Track?

The "Do Not Track" option asks websites to stop tracking you. It is available in Firefox and IE 9.0 and can be enabled via browser settings.

When you enable this option, your browser adds a special command to every request that it sends to a website which tells the website that you don't want to be tracked.

To enable the “Do Not Track” option in Firefox follow these steps:

  • Open Firefox and click on Options
  • Select the Privacy tab
  • Click on 'Tell websites I do not want to be tracked'
  • Click OK
