Open ID is quickly getting acceptance on the web; today there is more than one billion Open ID facilitated user accounts.

According to an estimate, more than 50,000 websites are accommodating Open ID accounts for login.

Now you can sign into any website that accepts the Open ID service with your Open ID account.  An Open ID is a way of recognizing yourself regardless of which website you are visiting.
